Our objective is to help alcoholics and drug addicts get sober.
In order for someone to get sober they need to be willing to make significant life changes and for those willing to take action we want to give them the opportunity for a new life.
Sobriety for a lot of drug addicts usually starts with a trip to the hospital or a detox or facility.
One of the major problems with the detox facilities is that they are overcrowded and underfunded. Somebody might receive treatment for 24 - 72 hours but, they might need 7-10 days to rid their system of the drugs.
The facility’s main concern is that the client doesn’t die and is not a danger to themselves or others.
When the client is released too early without supervision more than likely they will go back to drinking and using in a very short period of time.
So what we do is pick them up straight from detox and help them get into sober living.
We encourage 12 step meetings, provide nutritional meals and work with them to set up a game plan to recreate their lives.
People need to know that no matter what their past looks like, no matter how hopeless and miserable they have felt. They now have an opportunity to be happy, joyful and free!
